Lynden French was born September 12th, 1972 in Nassau Bahamas to Angela Rolle and David French. He has a son by the name Reshad. Lynden has worked in the hotel industry for many years.

Lynden French earned his third degree by the Kung Fu, Karate, Tai Chi Chuan Association May 24th 2003, promoting him to “Gao Tao.” Not to mention the long list of awards he received over the years previously.

In the summer of 1985 he started training with Randy Johnson. He was a talented young man who became an overnight champion, winning competitions internationally. His extra special talent was his lightening fast adaptable legs, which most would say were additional arms, because of the way he could use them with such super speed, control and flexibility. His skill made him an orthodox fighter. His precise timing made him extremely deadly. His greatest beliefs in the art were to developed practical techniques that could be used both in tournaments and on the streets.

He came in the art with the intentions of fighting, but found out that he had a natural ability to work Katas and Weapons. A champion he became in both adding Monkey and Drunken style to his attributes. He also believed in a Kung Fu Lo knowing his theory about the origin of their style. He also thought that a martial artist should always be well rounded and should be able to adapt to their situation and surroundings. But most of all a martial artist should be able to hold their own ground against any attacks, which really means that persons must be able to out think their opponent.

Mr. French is not known for keeping medals or trophies, because after every tournament he gave away his trophies believing that he really didn’t have a need for them, though he had collected over 928 trophies, Lynden use to hold little tournaments in his neighborhood to help develop and elevate the youths mind about martial arts and how it can help them through life’s ups and downs.

When Randy Johnson retired from teaching; as a result, many of his students were turned over to his most senior student Lynden French. Henceforth, Bai Sung #20 was formed. Gao Tao French himself turned out to be an instructor who trained many that became champions in Kata’s, Weapons and Kumite like himself. He now have produced several black belts which through the years have dominated in varies tournaments and are currently reining champions Nationally and in International Four Winds Martial Arts Association System. Gao Tao French continues to teach in the Pinewood Gardens area Nassau, Bahamas.
